So much of the fashion world has played with the idea of androgyny and here is the latest manifestation.
Liu Xianping, a 72-year-old grandfather standing 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 110 pounds, recently modeled for his granddaughter,
Lv Ting, women’s clothes line, which is sold at Taobao, China’s biggest online shopping service provider. Since the campaign was launched, Ting's sales have increased six-fold.
Xianping is quoted as saying
"Why unacceptable (for someone like me to wear women’s clothes)? Modelling for the store is helping my granddaughter and I have nothing to lose. We were very happy on the day of the shooting. I’m very old and all that I care about is to be happy."
