"Pon De Floor" and the Art of Daggering

The dance style now referred to "daggering" has been gaining popularity outside of the dance hall world with the help of artists such as Major Lazar and music videos such as "Pon de Floor." The name is an implication of the penis being used as a "dagger" mimicking many sexual movements. While this dance tradition has existed for a long time, it's growing popularity has apparently caused the Jamaican Broadcast Commission to ban songs that are too overtly sexual. Rumors have it that those trying to replicate the movements during sex rather than while dancing has caused an increase in penis injuries.
