Ryan McGinley is a 33 year old artist who has shown at some of the biggest art institutions in the world including the Brooklyn Museum of Art, SFMOMA, PS1 and the National Portrait Gallery just to name a few highlights in his extensive exhibition history. He was even the youngest artist to have a solo exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art.

While his work has veered through the lens of his own creativity, he has also taken on large commissioned projects such as the 2010 Winter Olympics and NY Times Magazine's Oscar Portfolio. McGinley's work has often oscillated around the inspiration of the nude form. His new work, Life Adjustment Center, wraps nudity with the rawness of the animal form. This new series is featured at the San Francisco gallery Ratio 3.
